At
the end of 6 weeks each trainee writes an exam on each subject. If successful,
they graduate with a certificate and report which can be used as their CV.
The
focus is to restore hope and dignity to unskilled, single parents living with
HIV/ Aids in the community with the goal of seeing them sufficiently skilled so
as to receive employment and thus being financially independent.

- Identifying a number of women who had poor vision and then
equipping them with free spectacles.
What they would like to achieve over the
next year?
- Increase in equipment so as to increase the number of
people I can train per module from 7 to 10 trainees
- get sponsorship;
up to 2008, the programme was not receiving any sponsorship and was self- supportive;
items made by the ladies were sold and a portion of the profit went back into
the project
- Increase the size of the studio
