"Love is on the move
Revealing heavens truth
Love is on it's way and it will find you
And anyone can run
Into the arms of God
Love is on it's way and it will find you
And all the world cries for healing
The deepest loving for the love of god
And oh! the greatest mystery
Love has come to save us"

"Love is on the Move" - Leeland

With the start of Spring, may you carry the love of God into this world!
Blessings, Carita

Development of Okalawa Children's Village
The building of Okalawa Children's Village is going great- they have finished the guard house and are now busy with the first two homes. During Quelimane Life Conference in July, Pastor Anthony (founder of Ubomi) visited the site and was impressed with the progress.

Life Church hosted their annual conference in August and honoured Pastors Annmaree and Oswaldo for their work in Quelimane and for carrying the vision for Okalawa Children's Village. Please visit our YouTube page for all the latest videos on the building process and more information about the project.

Buy a Brick Fundraiser
During Life Conference 2010, we launched our fundraiser for Okalawa Children Village "Buy a Brick". We need to sell 6900 bricks to build one home. This includes the exterior structure, interior fittings, electrics, bathroom and security.

"Buy a Brick... Build a village" - FOR R30, you can purchase one of the bricks that we will use to build a home for 8 children and a mother. Over the weekend we sold 644. Together with previous donations this brings us to a total of 1400 thus far!

If you would like to buy a brick, please contact Carita on carita@ubomi.com for a purchase form. In total, we need to sell 6900 bricks to build one home.

Ubomi Dinner Week
Join Ubomi ambassadors around the world during the week of 16 September and host a dinner for friends and family to promote Ubomi and raise funds for the trust. You could do this by charging a set fee for the dinner or by asking for donations.

Be creative: Auction a painting, organise a themed dinner, hand out Ubomi flyers, etc. All the money that you raise will go towards Ubomi.

Please email details of your Ubomi dinner to info@ubomi.com and we will place it on our website. You can also contact Carita if you require further information - carita@ubomi.com

Book Donation in Samora Machel
Samora Machel is a poor township community located next to Philippi in Cape Town. One of their challenges is to provide the children in the community with a decent education.

Ellerton Primary School in Sea Point donated a collection of study books to Ubomi who have in turn passed them on to Samora Machel's Library. The library is doing a great job under the supervision of Lulama Langeni.

If you would like to donate books to this library, please contact the Ubomi Office on 021 439 4721.
