FOR THE STRUGGLER:
Why do I have to change?
You don't have to change. God loves you as you are. Your needs are legitimate. The way you satisfy them needs to change.
What do I have to do?

You have to be committed to your healing. You have to be willing to do all it takes to walk into victory. A support structure is vital to assist you during this time.
What is a support structure?
A support structure is anything or anyone agreeing with you that you need healing and victory in a certain area of your life. This can be your church, support group, family or friends. It is important that your support structure will not give up on you and will stand by you when you need them most.

FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY
:
"How do I respond?" This Is one of the first questions asked by family and friends when they find out that someone close to them struggles with homosexuality or other relational problems. It is important not to reject the person. At this time they need your love and acceptance more than ever before. We understand that we cannot control or change anyone. The moment we try it causes the individual who is struggling to close up and turn away. Restoring Wholeness is willing to help the families and friends of people caught in life-controlling sexual and relational issues. Not only do family and friends approach us for advice on how to help the struggler, but sometimes the discovery of another persons brokenness brings out their own uncertainties and insecurities. A family member might need help just as much as the struggle

FOR THE CHURCH

We offer a comprehensive "Leader's Equipping Course" to pastors, pastoral care workers, disciplers (counsellors) and lay workers. The goal is to help you understand and minister effectively to relationally and sexually broken people.

We support all churches by offering practical and effective help through disciplling (counselling) for those desiring change from sexual and relational brokenness.
We offer a variety of LIFE Matters© Support Programmes for those dealing with relational and sexual brokenness as well as for the family and friends who also need support. For more information please call our office, +27 (0)21 439 4721, or go to www.LIFEMatters.co.za
We believe it is vital for today's church to be part of the solution to this increasingly high-profile problem.

There is also a great need to support the youth that struggle with their sexual identity. We continue to create effective ways to communicate to young people new avenues to better reflect God's purpose for their life. Our new LIFE Matters Youth Programme, which is being created, will be a valuable tool for churches, ministries and youth organisations.
