SAMORA
KIDZ DAY
On the 8th of July, Ubomi hosted a Kids Club in Samora Machel
for 330 children between the ages of 4 and 6. The program consisted out of skits,
songs, dance competitions, telling stories, craft making and loads of fun. 60
Community members also joined us to makes sure the Kids Club is a special day
for the children. We are looking forward to do our next kidclub in Samora Machel!
It will also help us to build strong relationships in the community and be more
aware of the massive need for a kids centre in the community.

SAMORA
SOCCER DAY
On the 2nd of July, Ubomi and Stars of Today hosted a soccer
day in Samora Machel. 16 Teams competed in the soccer tournament and a number
of supporters showed up to cheer on their teams. The Black Stars, a Samora Machel
team, took home the prize. After the tournament, everyone watched a World Cup
game together in the community hall. Thank you to everyone who made the day possible!
We truly lived out our slogan "God cares, we care, people matter" by
creating a day of fun, laughter, soccer and fellowship. Watch this space for the
next soccer tournament!
