ubomi (of origin xhosa) 1. defin:- noun meaning: life

NOTE FROM THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Trust was established to build the Kingdom of God by partnering with existing community projects to reach out to the community. By partnering with these projects, we are able to link the local church with people in need; thus enabling us to live out Life Church’s slogan “God cares, We Care, People Matter”.

It is all based on “Seeing a need and filling that need”. Ubomi wants to see a community changed, a city changed, a nation changed and a world changed! We value seeking out to our community and by understanding the communities’ need, we can by a part of the solution. We need to be a beacon of hope.

God hears the cry of every person in need and He always responds, but He responds through His people with extravagant acts of love and kindness. God loves people too much to leave them where they are. The church, the body of Christ, lives in the middle of a world in need and we must live in such a way to produce the fruit of justice and righteousness to bring hope to the community in which we live.

"Ubomi is a Life Giving vehicle that seeks to build, nurture and encourage ministries and agencies to maximise their true potential in a God glorifying way. When people partner with Ubomi, they experience integrity, honesty and capacity building that ensures the right outcomes."
Anthony Liebenberg, Trustee

“Ubomi is not just about philanthropy and charitable support. It is a lot more. Ubomi is about creating the environment and platform from which broken communities can grow and thrive. We see the potential which God has placed in every person. Our desire is to carry the message of hope to those who are desperate and in need. Christ can make a difference in and through their lives and we want to help create the platform for them to fulfil their potential. Unconditional love, unfailing mercy and the promise of new life is the gift we want to give. With your help, and God's grace, we can do this. “
Bradley Anthony, Trustee

“So many people in our Country and outside our borders are in dire straits, In UBOMI we have a vehicle whereby through the generosity of people and their organisations donating to UBOMI we will be able assist and fulfil the need of those who are destitute.”
Derek Murison, Trustee

“I believe passionately in the Ubomi Trust as a vehicle to support the projects that are taking place. The world is in need of people who will really care and take action. People need to be bigger than themselves and their own world and see what can be done to make our world a better place. Ubomi seeks to do this through supporting good projects that are run by good people.”
Sean Phillipps, Trustee
