ORPHAN VULNERABLE CHILDREN (OVC)
Ubomi's main focus area is orphan and vulnerable children. Ubomi has been established to look after children who have been deprived from their first line of protection - their parents - due to either HIV/Aids or other events. Orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) face a number of challenges, including finding money for school fees, food, clothing, and access to basic healthcare.

Their desperation makes them more vulnerable to abuse and exploitation, ultimately making them more susceptible to contracting HIV.

Ubomi will be focus on this need by:

  1. Building and running Okalawa Children Village in Quelimane
  2. Building and running Kosovo Children Centre
  3. Building and running Watoto Cape Town
  4. Adopt a Child Program: Ubomi will be launching soon an "Adopt a Child Program" for children in Mozambique, Malawi and Cape Town
  5. Other projects in the future
